Estes Park Distillery and Brewery Owners to Speak at the Estes Park Startup Meetup on Oct 5th.
The Estes Park Startup Meetup group is a growing group of startup entrepreneurs in Estes Park looking to inspire and help others through the creation of a dense network.
The group meets the first Wednesday of every month at Via Bicycle Café at 8:00 am. Each meeting includes a chance for participants to introduce themselves and meet other people interested in joining the Estes area startup community.
On October 5th, they welcome Elkins Distillery owner McShan Walker, Rock Cut Brewery owner Tracey Goodemote and Lumpy Ridge Brewery owner Nick Smith to talk about the Estes Park Craft Beverage Industry. These three new businesses have joined existing Estes Park businesses such as Snowy Peaks Winery and Estes Park Brewery to create a local craft beverage community. Colorado is a national leader in the craft brewing industry, and new distilleries are joining the craft beverage movement in Colorado. Colorado ranks first in state per capita economic impact from breweries, and fifth nationwide in total economic impact, totaling over $2.7 billion in 2014.
The Estes Park EDC welcomes you to join us at Via Bicycle Café on October 5th at 8:00. We’ll get some coffee and chat then walk next door to Elkins Distillery for a tour and to learn more about Estes Park’s growing craft goods and specialty beverage industry. You’ll also learn more about what’s happening in the world of entrepreneurship in Estes Park.
