Dear Community Partner,

We’re excited to share information about upcoming opportunities for your clients to provide their input and opinions, with the potential to serve on the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment Community Advisory Group in an ongoing paid role.

What: Healthy Larimer is a series of health-related community conversations that will be held in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Estes Park to establish an equitable, trusting, and collaborative means for meeting the health needs of everyone in Larimer County.

Our goal: To share power with and amplify the voices of under-represented groups as we build the foundation for our department’s Community Advisory Group, which will include invitations to participate in an ongoing paid role (stipends) with our department.

Who is Invited: This is an opportunity for residents, often left out of health-related conversations, to share their lived experiences with our department and contribute to the co-development, adoption, and promotion of a shared agenda, narrative, and resources to address health needs in the community.

How you, our dedicated community partners, can help: Would you assist us in identifying residents who might be interested in an ongoing paid role on our department’s Community Advisory Board that would be willing to share their experiences and input? We’re asking you to be the trusted messengers and share information about the Healthy Larimer events with your clients, or the population you are serving. There are many quick and easy ways that you can help:

Events will include:

  • Childcare options

  • Dinner

  • Health screenings

  • Stations to learn about and give feedback on Health Department programs and services

  • Chances to win great prizes and gift cards.

Individuals should register to participate using the link below.
