Dear Estes Valley Business Community,

On April 17th, the Town of Estes Park awarded the Estes Park EDC and the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce $150,000 for Business Relief grant distribution from its $250,000 Community Relief fund. Thanks to this generous resource, the Estes Park EDC and Chamber have received more than 100 applications from local small businesses for funding.

These requests have resulted in more than four times the amount of funding available and we are currently vetting the applications against the loan criteria and will be distributing funds soon.  Though every applicant may not be awarded the full amount of their request, we are working to help as many businesses as possible while also making the biggest impact possible.

Due to the overwhelming response to this program, we are unable to accept additional applications.  We will begin contacting qualified applicants on April 27th with further information about their grant and when they can expect to receive it.  We are working through the applications in the order that they were received.  Our goal is to complete the distribution of grants by May 1st.

We would like to thank the Town of Estes Park and the Estes Chamber of Commerce for their partnership in this process.  We also gratefully acknowledge the Bank of Colorado for providing the banking services.

Lastly, we truly appreciate our business community.  You have all been very courteous and helpful in your communication with us during this process.  We look forward to following up with applicants next week.

Please see below for some additional information about resources available for businesses.
