Estes Park is located in Larimer County, Colorado, between Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) and the Roosevelt National Forest, 77 miles northwest of Denver International Airport. Estes Park is considered part of the Fort Collins-Loveland Metro region. Because Estes Park is east of the Continental Divide, residents of Estes Park can readily access the Front Range business communities of Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont and Loveland.

Major roads that connect us to the Front Range are Highway 36 (to Lyons and Boulder, or connecting at Lyons on 66 to Longmont and I-25) and Highway 34 (to Loveland and I-25). In addition, Highway 7 connects to the Peak-to-Peak Highway and to Lyons.

The EPMC/Anschutz Wellness Center at the Stanley Hotel provides an opportunity for Estes Park to play a leading role in branding Colorado as both a wellness destination, and as a location for new or expanding health and wellness businesses.

Year-round outdoor recreation is a major attraction for local residents. The Estes Valley region is known for its wildlife, including elk, deer and bighorn sheep.

National Geographic Traveler Magazine named Rocky Mountain National Park to its 2014 Best of the World List of 21 traveler destinations. According to the magazine, “the list reflects what’s authentic, culturally rich, sustainable and superlative in the world of travel today.” For Estes Valley residents, this exceptional experience is just minutes away every day.

Colorado ranks high in entrepreneurship and business climate with a highly educated workforce. Our region ranks high in a number of business and lifestyle rankings. Here are just a few for the Metro region:
